I have found out “Niyyah” (نیّة) is an Islamic concept referring to the intention one evokes in one’s heart to do an act for the sake of Allah, and I’m wondering: Is this term authentic and true in Islam? Is “Niyyah” mentioned in the Quran? Can “Niyyah” be used as a girls name? Lastly, how do you pronounce this name? It is NEE-ah or NYE-ah?

my names niyyah so yeah it can be used a girls name
