Meaning of Munir
Munir is a direct Quranic name for boys that means “illuminating”, “illulminated”, “enlightening”, “brilliant”. Verse 3:184 is the first of six Quranic mentions:
Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] – so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture. {3:184}
Exalted is He who put constellations in the heavens, a radiant light, and an illuminating moon. {25:61}
